It's time to post again . . .

Contemplating a post topic, . . . thinking, . . . thinking, . . . stayed out way too late last night at softball . . .wait, late night softball, that will do . . .

It was awsome, I got to play every inning, but didn't have to bat once! I basically spent the time in right field picking daisys and kinda dancing around trying to stay awake. It was really fun though and it didn't hurt that Sigma won . . .

Went to the TCA homecomming also last night, watched all of one play, spent most of the time over by the dorms. It's wierd, but I feel so much more comfortable over by the dorms than with the high school kids, guess that's only normal though. Transitions can suprise you sometimes. I spent every fall Friday for four years over in those stands and yet, it no longer appeals to me. I love being in college. I'm always doing something, going somewhere, I love the independence of it all. My dad hates it, the fact that I'm moving on, but I know it's right, and I know that he knows that too. . .

Nature

Yeah! I found a wireless network in my house! Granted the signal strength is still low, but it makes me happy to not be stuck to a land line. So anyways, that has nothing to de with the topic of my post, but I wanted to share my joy.

Anyways, I had a neat thought in Doctrines yesterday. Big Daddy T was talking about internal and external revelation and how just by looking at creation, man knows there is a God. It was at that point that I finally realized why I love nature and being outside so much. When I see a sunrise or feel a breeze, I'm actually asmiring God. Have you ever walked outside and felt the sun, and just smiled and thanked God? I have, but I never really stopped and conected loving nature with loving God and all the things he has done. I never realized that a poem about a meadow or something could actually be a prayer. Sometimes I wish I didn't live in the 'burbs. I was talking with my mom about this "revelation" I had and she said that she sees the same thing at work (the Jax Zoo). She said that she loves the look people get on their faces when they get to connect with the animals. God really knew what He was doing when He made us. I know I don't have to tell any of ya'll that, but its true, and I'm glad . . .

A Two Part Blog

Part I - Guys: a retraction

A little ways down on my page there is a post going on and on about all the things I think I want in a life partner. So God says to me, "Are you so sure about that? Do you remember what happened the last time you thought you knew what you wanted? What happens every time you think you know better than me?" Michelle said, "Point taken God".

Part II - The Retreat

For those of you who didn't go, or who don't go to TBC anymore, at all, or ever, the student body retreat was this weekend. I think it was a perfect ending to the wonderful revival week that we had at school. There seems to be a very good atmosphere at school this year and I am excited about that. I mean, we are a Bible college. So anyways, Trinity Youth camp is really small. I had no idea. And it's in the sticks. Joy, Stephen Sapp, Jodi and I all rode down together because we didn't make it back from Titusville in time to ride the bus. Oh well, I think we had just as much fun singing along to Selah and Mercy Me. Bro. Grover was great this weekend. I love seeing him in a non academic setting. And, I met a lot of new people, so that was good. Well, I hope you all are doing well. Take care!
