A Two Part Blog

Part I - Guys: a retraction

A little ways down on my page there is a post going on and on about all the things I think I want in a life partner. So God says to me, "Are you so sure about that? Do you remember what happened the last time you thought you knew what you wanted? What happens every time you think you know better than me?" Michelle said, "Point taken God".

Part II - The Retreat

For those of you who didn't go, or who don't go to TBC anymore, at all, or ever, the student body retreat was this weekend. I think it was a perfect ending to the wonderful revival week that we had at school. There seems to be a very good atmosphere at school this year and I am excited about that. I mean, we are a Bible college. So anyways, Trinity Youth camp is really small. I had no idea. And it's in the sticks. Joy, Stephen Sapp, Jodi and I all rode down together because we didn't make it back from Titusville in time to ride the bus. Oh well, I think we had just as much fun singing along to Selah and Mercy Me. Bro. Grover was great this weekend. I love seeing him in a non academic setting. And, I met a lot of new people, so that was good. Well, I hope you all are doing well. Take care!

hopefully now you know a little bit of why i love camp so much! it's because it's out in the middle of nowhere and you can really take time to think and pray and be with God. glad the spirit is so good at school this year, i do miss it! glad the revival was great too, i heard a lot about it. may God bless you richly this year!
love,
Jen

Part 1: Ironic, I just recently came to the conclusion that maybe I should open up and start dating again. (I had previously said that I didn't wish to get married.) I guess god just wants us to be open to his will.

Part 2: I wish I could have gone! Looks like you had a good time. Dang sickness.

If we knew what God knew, God wouldn't be God. So I guess it is best just to trust in Him because He always wants the absolute and total best for our lives... (aka At what we think we want, God laughs cause He knows He has so much better)

Miss you lots!!!
