Nature

Yeah! I found a wireless network in my house! Granted the signal strength is still low, but it makes me happy to not be stuck to a land line. So anyways, that has nothing to de with the topic of my post, but I wanted to share my joy.

Anyways, I had a neat thought in Doctrines yesterday. Big Daddy T was talking about internal and external revelation and how just by looking at creation, man knows there is a God. It was at that point that I finally realized why I love nature and being outside so much. When I see a sunrise or feel a breeze, I'm actually asmiring God. Have you ever walked outside and felt the sun, and just smiled and thanked God? I have, but I never really stopped and conected loving nature with loving God and all the things he has done. I never realized that a poem about a meadow or something could actually be a prayer. Sometimes I wish I didn't live in the 'burbs. I was talking with my mom about this "revelation" I had and she said that she sees the same thing at work (the Jax Zoo). She said that she loves the look people get on their faces when they get to connect with the animals. God really knew what He was doing when He made us. I know I don't have to tell any of ya'll that, but its true, and I'm glad . . .

Did I ever mention that I love the rain? (oh, and wireless networks as well)

Yes, a thousand times! You got it! The hymn "I sing the mighty power of God" is what gave me the same revelation a couple years ago, so I know what you're saying :) My only complaint is that I can't see the stars here on campus cause of all the lights:(

Small lights dim the brightest...(start of a poem I was working on, but din't get very far)

Take a walk and praise the Lord!
